This is a good time of year to grab value for money theatre breaks so it’s a great time to book if you fancy treating yourself to a bit of affordable luxury. Calendar Girls with afternoon tea at Fortnum & Masons, tickets for the show and hotel. Prices from £131 per person.
Calendar Girls is seriously funny and totally star packed. I expect we all know the hilarious story of those brave WI ladies and the blow they struck for middle aged women everywhere. What a great chance to see some of the best British acting talent all in one show! The cast includes: Lynda Bellingham, (love her, she’ll always be the Oxo Mum to me!) Patricia Hodge,(remember Lives and Loves of a She Devil?) not to mention Sian Phillips, Gaynor Faye, Brigit Forsyth, Julia Hills and of course, Elaine C Smith. You can read more artoicles about the show on the Calendar Girls category. And if you’re not sure what Afternoon Tea at Fortum & Masons will be like take a look at this post Afternoon Tea
Show and Stay have called this deal “Considerably bigger buns” which is a quote from the show. I think we can leave you to work out the context but if you’re not sure there’s a clue in that cast picture! The low down: The £131 price is based on:
Calendar Girls tickets, Afternoon tea at Fortum & Masons 1 night at the 3* Travelodge Kings Cross Royal Scott
