Peter Pan comes to Kensington Gardens
http://usefulwiki.com/londontheatre/peter-pan-comes-to-kensington-gardens.html
Peter Pan Flies Again Book Peter Pan Theatre Breaks Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens One of the world’s most beloved children’s stories comes to Kensington Gardens this summer. It will be presented in a unique, high tech setting in London’s Kensington Gardens. The Story of Peter Pan - An Awfully Big Adventure J M Barrie’s magical story of the boy who wouldn’t grow up has been enchanting audiences since the early 1900s. The story,as I’m sure we all know, tells the tale of Peter Pan, the magical Neverland and his adventures with his band of Lost Boys. Peter listens in on the bed-time stories of the Darling children, Wendy, Michael and John. One night he is spotted trying to find his lost shadow and Wendy helps him out. So Wendy and her brothers fly with Peter to Neverland. Once in Neverland there are pirates, Indians mermaids, fairies, poison, crocodiles and Captain Hook. Until eventually it’s all resolved and all are happy ever after. The Neverland Pavilion This purpose built temporary structure in the middle of Kensington Gardens, is an incredible state-of-the-art performance space. The pavilion looks a bit like a huge, and very fancy tent. There’s no worries about the British weather because the pavilion is fully waterproof. The temporary theatre is also equipped with high-tech 360 degree projection technology so that you are surrounded by the magical special effects. The Neverland Pavilion should prove an incredible performance space. Peter Pan Dates and Times Peter Pan will run from 26 May to 30 August 2009. The show has a running time of approximately two hours. Tuesday - Saturday 19.30 Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday 14:00 Sunday 15:00 Peter Pan Theatre Breaks - Check to see if your dates are available
